Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya created history on Sunday, as he guided the debutants Gujarat Titans to their maiden Indian Premier League glory in the 2022 edition of the IPL. Pandya-led Gujarat Titans defeated hammered Rajasthan Royals (RR) by 7 wickets in the final of the IPL 2022 at the Narendra Modi Stadium.

Hardik Pandya, who has learned the tricks of the trade from the best in the business – none other than legendary captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, impressed one and all with the way he led his side throughout the tournament. Well, after GT’s historic win on their home ground, BCCI president Sourav Ganguly handed the prestigious trophy to Gujarat captain Pandya. Taking a leaf out of MSD’s book, Hardik was seen handing over the trophy to the youngest player of the franchise during the celebrations. Hardik handed the trophy to the young Afghanistan WK Gurbaz and moved to the side for celebration.
Hardik’s gesture has won many hearts and the video of the same has been going viral on the internet.
