It is a Full Member of the International Cricket Council (ICC), is run by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), and has Test, ODI, and T20 International status. British sailors brought cricket to India in the 18th century, and in 1792, the first cricket club was set up. India’s national cricket team played their first Test match on June 25, 1932, at Lord’s. They were the sixth team to get test cricket status. India didn’t win a Test match for almost 20 years, in 1952. India only won 35 of the first 196 Test matches it played in its first 50 years of international cricket. But the team got stronger when players like Sunil Gavaskar, Gundappa Viswanath, Kapil Dev, and the Indian spin quartet became famous in the 1970s.

India Cricket Team Players, India has won five of the most important ICC tournaments. Cricket:

Cricket is a popular game played with a bat and a ball. In India, the BCCI and the International Cricket Council are in charge of running the game. Ten countries that often test each other are there. Test matches, 50-over matches, and 20-over matches are the three types of games.  On an oval field, the game is played. When one team scores, the other team needs to score one more run to win. Twenty20 matches and 50-over matches both have two innings, but test matches can have up to four innings. These are just a few examples of India Cricket Team Players such as Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, Kapil Dev, Virender Sehwag, and many other sports greats.

When It Comes To Rules And Laws:

In cricket, an innings is the name for two turns. In a Test match, each team gets two turns to bat. Each team gets one inning in a 50-over game and one in a 20-over game. In a game, who gets to bat first or play first is decided by flipping a coin. At the two ends of the pitch, there are tree stumps. White lines are often used to make a crease at both ends. The ball must be thrown from behind the crease by the bowler. To get a run, the batter has to cross the crease at the other end of the field.
