The men’s T20 World Cup 2022 will feature 16 teams taking part from October 16 to November 13 – here’s the full squad list of each side for the ICC T20 WC competition.
16 teams – Australia, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, England, India, Namibia, New Zealand, Pakistan, Scotland, South Africa, Sri Lanka, West Indies, Ireland, UAE, Netherlands and Zimbabwe will be competing in the T20 World Cup this year. The twelve teams that reached the Super 12s stage of the 2021 World Cup automatically qualified for the 2022 competition. Ireland, UAE, the Netherlands and Zimbabwe reached the competition through the Global Qualifiers.
The tournament will begin with round one where the top two teams in Group A and B will reach the Super 12s. The teams who will compete in the first round are Namibia, The Netherlands, Sri Lanka and the UAE (Group A) and Ireland, Scotland, West Indies and Zimbabwe (Group B).
