Team India continued their winning momentum in the ongoing Women’s Asia Cup 2022 as they thrashed Thailand in a one-sided contest at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium on Monday.
It’s definitely an overwhelming sense of pride every time I play for India. And it being my 100th T20I match in this jersey with this group is something special! A good win and more importantly a place in the semis. Journey continues and we continue to thrive to make 🇮🇳 proud pic.twitter.com/XkIuKQ5CKc

India then finished the contest by the close of powerplay at a loss of one wicket. Opener Sabbhineni Meghana (20 no) and Pooja Vastrakar (12 no) remained unbeaten as India won the match by nine wickets.
“Playing for India and playing the 100th T20, it’s a special feeling. The girls made it special. This Indian team is a fun team to play with. Thailand played good cricket in this tournament. We were looking forward to come out and play. Our bowlers were brilliant. All three batters did their job. We have the semifinal after two days. We’ll be working hard, looking forward to go out and play that,” said India’s stand-in skipper Mandhana after the match.
