Yet, Harbhajan Singh and R Ashwin – two of India’s finest – played five times together: against England in Mumbai, and against Australia in Chennai and Hyderabad, in 2012/13; and against Bangladesh in Fatullah, and against Sri Lanka in Galle, in 2015.
