England will travel to Bangladesh for an ODI & T20I series set to begin on March 1 – here is the full BAN vs ENG schedule, including match timings.
In their final white-ball challenge of the winter, England will face Bangladesh in three ODIs and three T20Is played between Mirpur and Chittagong. Their squads for both series were announced in February, with several key names unavailable for the ODI leg of the tour due to their Test match commitments in New Zealand.
Rehan Ahmed earned his maiden white ball call-up and is selected in both squads. The 18-year-old drew international attention when he took a five-wicket haul in his maiden, and so far only, senior international match. England will also benefit from the return to fitness of several of their fast bowlers, Saqib Mahmood is back after spending several months out with a back injury. He joins Jofra Archer who made his long-awaited return to international cricket against South Africa in January.
Tom Abell, so far uncapped in senior internationals, had been included in both squads but picked up an injury on England Lions’ tour to Sri Lanka. He has been withdrawn from the squad to begin his recovers, no replacement has yet been named. Ben Duckett and Will Jacks will join up with the T20I squad after the conclusion of the second Test match in New Zealand.
